How to do it in the app
- Open Pyron and tap the Profile tab at the bottom.
- At the top, tap the Settings section.
- Scroll all the way down and open Account.
- Tap Delete account there.
- Confirm with Delete for good.
After that, the account is gone. You will be signed out and can no longer sign in with the same login details.
What is deleted
The following disappear along with the account:
- your login (email address or the link to Apple or Google)
- your profile: username, rank, level, XP, title, crest and frame
- all stored step values — hourly values as well as daily values
- your friendships and pending invitations
- your club membership, your teams and pending club invitations
- your achievements, medals and Flames
- your messages in the club chat
- your device token for notifications
- your hero in Pyron Legends with everything that belongs to it
What remains — and why
Seven things survive the deletion. We state all seven here, because otherwise “everything will be deleted” would not be true.
Your rating and its entries
What you achieved in rounds and tournaments remains in the standings — your rating account and the individual entries in it. In the tables, you will then appear as “Unknown”; your username, your profile and everything personal are gone.
The reason is the same as for the paragraph below: a round that has been settled and from which a result later disappears would no longer have been a round for the other participants.
Other players' ongoing competitions
You disappear from the ongoing round, but the round itself continues with the remaining participants, including their results. Anything else would punish the other players for someone having left.
Reported chat messages
If someone reported one of your messages in the club chat, we keep the copy that belongs to that report until the report is resolved, then for a maximum of 12 months. Your messages in the chat itself are gone with the account.
Your reports and Help tickets
What you wrote to us from the app or through Help in Pyron Legends stays in our support without any link to your account, until one year after the case is closed. A reported bug is not fixed by your account being deleted; without the link, all that remains is the hint for us.
Crash reports at Sentry
If the app crashes, a report goes to Sentry, with your player ID and your display name. We delete these reports after 90 days, even if your account is deleted before then. More details in the Privacy Policy.
Fight reports in Pyron Legends
If someone attacked you in Pyron Legends, the fight report stays with them for as long as their hero exists, with your name and your hero's values on the day of the fight. The fight is part of their game history, just as a settled round is part of the other participants'. More under Pyron Legends.
Anonymous usage events
We measure how often rounds start, are scored or fail. These events are linked to a pseudonymous identifier, not to your player ID, and contain no step counts and no names. Once your account has been deleted, they can no longer be attributed to you — they are then anonymous within the meaning of the GDPR and are therefore retained.
Where we are legally obliged to retain data — for example tax-relevant records relating to a subscription or credit notes to a creator — the data concerned remains stored for the duration of the retention period and is not used for anything else. More details can be found in the Privacy Policy.
This does not end an active Pyron subscription
This only applies if you have taken out the Pyron subscription. The subscription runs through your Apple ID or your Google account, not through us. If you delete your account without cancelling first, the store will keep renewing it and keep charging you. You have to cancel there:
- On the iPhone: open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, select Pyron and tap Cancel Subscription
- On Android: open Google Play, tap your profile picture at the top right, tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, select Pyron and tap Cancel subscription

If you can no longer get into the app
If you no longer have the device or cannot get into your account, write to us at hello@pyron.app. We will then delete the account for you. So that we do not do this for the wrong person just because someone asks, please write from the email address you registered with and state your username. We will get back to you within one month, as provided for in Art. 12(3) GDPR — as a rule, much sooner.
